The Animal

The Animal is a collection of the early works in mixed media and touch upon elements that continue to fascinate me Amateur experimentation is embedded into this collection . Portraits of people, both real and imagined, and a variety of animals are depicted in abstract realism allowing colour or the lack thereof to create depth. Personally, this is a theme that I have revisited since childhood and is a recurring theme seen throughout my collections as well as these individual pieces.
